Hey teeth lover,

In today’s episode I am sharing my client Courtney’s transformation. Courtney has been in the dental field for 20 years and was feeling it to say the least. She had a hard time taking a deep breath and her husband would have to crack her back every night. She started practicing 5 days a week then went down to 4 days, then to 3 days. Like many hygienists, she tried all- massage, chiro, acupuncture, yoga, and nothing helped. Fast forward to today and she is completely free of pain. She even went back to working 5 days a week!!! Listen in to hear her amazing transformation.
Stay Strong,
Brianne

Hey teeth lover,

Today I’m diving into how to build muscle and actually see results from your workouts. While exercise selection is important- there are more important factors that are overlooked. The way you perform the exercises, meaning your form and technique is the MOST important factor and extremely overlooked. Just like you don’t want your patients brushing or flossing aggressively- there's a right and wrong way to do things. Today I am sharing the 3 most important factors to pay attention to when it comes to building muscle. Want to train with purpose instead of going through the motions? Then this episode is for you!

Hey teeth lovers,
Today I’m talking about why the secret to long term pain relief is in the POSTERIOR chain. More specifically: exactly what muscles should we be working in the posterior chain? Well it’s not as simple as doing some rows and pulls and all our pain problems will magically be solved. If this were the case then hygienists that exercise regularly wouldn’t still be suffering with pain. Since hygienists have  both underactive and overactive muscles in the posterior, we need to make sure that we are strategic with implementing the appropriate exercises while avoiding others at the same time. So grab a pen and paper and let’s get your learn on!

Hey teeth lovers,
Today I’m talking about microbreaks and how important they are to prevent MSDs. With all the repetitive motions and prolonged static postures, your career takes a toll on your body- ESPECIALLY your musculoskeletal system. While it might seem impossible to take a break during your workday, it is crucial to protect your body and your health. MSDs are a major fear for a lot of hygienists but they are 100% PREVENTABLE! Listen to learn why and to get the 4 best movements to do for a hygienist as a microbreak!

Hey teeth lovers,

In today’s episode I am sharing my client Brandi’s success story. Four years into her practice, she was already experiencing pain which was miserable. She lifted weights regularly on her own in the gym 4 days a week. She felt sore in areas she didn’t want to feel sore in the next day at work which made her hate lifting weights. She wanted a program that was geared towards working the muscles she wanted to work, not the ones that were already overused. After reading my article in RDH Magazine, she joined my Lift for Longevity program and hasn’t had pain in MONTHS- she actually forgot about it! She loves having a structured program and is glad she invested in herself. Listen in to hear her story<3

Hey teeth lovers,
Today I’m talking about something that is a little too normalized in dentistry-stretching. Now stretching isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it isn’t going to solve your pain problems. It’s just another temporary fix that lasts momentarily. So while stretching is a piece of the puzzle, you have to strength train to build the underactive muscles if you want to get rid of pain LONG TERM. Just like brushing and flossing-they go hand in hand. So if you want to know what muscle you should be stretching and what muscles you should strengthen, tune in now!

Hey teeth lovers,
Do you workout regularly but don’t get the results you hope for? Whether that be reduced pain, muscle gain, fat loss, increased energy…there’s a reason you aren’t achieving your goals. I recently spoke with a hygienist who was doing the same workouts for a year and a half with no results. This is because she was working out instead of strength training. I see this 100% of the time. This is why I educate on how to strength train with purpose and intention to actually get results. You CAN get rid of pain and build muscle at the same time- you just need to do it right. Listen in to hear how!

Hey teeth lovers,
Today we are diving into a topic that is often overlooked but incredibly important for your training success - proper BREATHING techniques. You see, hygienists struggle with taking deep breaths due to posture distortions like forward head and rounded shoulders. These distortions not only affect your lifting and training but also our everyday life! That’s why it’s so CRUCIAL to understand the importance of breathing and how to do it properly. So listen along and unlock the key to pain-free workouts and building a strong body with the right breathing techniques!

Hey teeth lovers,
It seems like everywhere you look nowadays you hear the word protein. Protein is the most important macronutrient when it comes to building muscle. What most people don’t know, it also is the biggest supplier of your ENERGY levels. Most hygienists I work with have low energy and not eating enough protein is a major contributing factor. If your intake is too low, this will not only hinder your muscle building, it will deplete you of your energy. Today I’m sharing how to make sure you are eating enough without tediously tracking. Listen to hear my hacks on how to make sure you are getting in your protein!
