Do you want to strengthen your rotator cuff? Often the muscles of the rotator cuff are weak in hygienists which will only affect their job, it can lead to injury. The shoulder joint has the most range of motion out of any of our joints-so we must make sure to protect it! By making sure we have mobility and range of motion, we can work on having healthy shoulders. If you have shoulder pain or feel like your shoulders are stuck or tight, listen in!

In today’s episode I am sharing my client Lori’s transformation. She was referred to me by another client because her hip pain was so bad that she could no longer hike or cycle-her two favorite activities. She felt like she was 80 years old getting out of bed and was desperate because she had tried everything to get rid of it. She would “push through pain” during her workouts because she thought she needed to get stronger only to be in pain for 3,4 or even 5 days after. Hey teeth lovers,
 
Do you have pain, burning, tingling, or numbness between your shoulder blades? I hear this from hygienists all the time, in fact it’s probably the most common pain I get complaints on. This pain, known as interscapular pain, is in fact muscular however it might not be stemming from where you think. Our scapular has so many jobs: upward, downward, internal, and external rotation. But more importantly, it moves in conjunction with our humeral joint so we have to make sure that both of these can move freely. Today I am sharing with you why we have this pain and how to get rid of it so listen in if this sounds like you!
